I started carrying Potluck Paris jewelry at The Little House because of the line's standout European designs in metal. The company owners personally shop in France and heft these unique, artisan crafted bracelets, earrings, rings and necklaces on their backs and through US customs, where the lucky few retailers (myself included!) get a bit of inventory that creates "ohs" and "ahs." The silvery pieces are chic, striking, and always timeless.

Join us on Twitter and you'll find the secret code to mention in-store that, for the remainder of this week (through Saturday), will get you 20% off these luscious finds at The Little House!

http://twitter.com/littlehousevi

We're tweeting on Twitter!

Come follow us on the one-liner-droppin' site that is Twitter. Bring whimsy, enchantment and good wishes to life with our newest addition: The Bubble Wish Wand (click the photo to expand the image).

Each Bubble Wish Wand is a handcrafted piece of usable glass art made for blowing bubble wishes. Take a deep breath from the heart and blow a bubble wish. Watch the magic of your intention float from you to the world.

These all-occasion wands are as beautiful as the bubbles they create and each arrives in a custom gift box with additional information.

Creator Kirsten Solly says, "our dream is that Bubble Wish Wands will become the symbol for positive intention and be a new tradition in people’s lives. There is something unique about blowing bubbles. The nature of the action forces us to slow time; making a bubble wish from the heart brings us focus so we can intensify and deepen our thoughts and connections. Mediterranean Food Merchant

Call it serendipity when Olivier Arizzi of the internationally renowned epicurean line, O&CO. and I meet in the middle of New York City’s Grand Central Station last month. Just in the nick of time, leaving town after accepting a national retail award, we meet.

The fruitful meeting resulted in a deal that brings a limited selection of O&CO’s premium Mediterranean olive oils and balsamic vinegars, tapenades, herbs and spices to the shop this month.

O&CO. has its own branded stores in select cities throughout the country, so we’re honored to be among a select few retailers to offer this premium epicurean line in our own store on Vashon. We’re offering the line’s Mediterranean gourmet classics in gift baskets and as individual items, all of which make a perfect gift for the food lover on anyone’s list.

As part of the launch of the line, The Little House donated to Vashon Allied Arts auction a gift basket filled with O&CO. epicurean and other specialty gift items, valued at $250.

O&CO., also known as Oliviers&CO., is part of a retail empire founded by Provence-based Olivier Baussan, the mogul behind international retailer L’Occitane. Baussan continues to pursue his vision of sharing magnificent olive oil products of his beloved Mediterranean through continued research, travel, and education.

Join us in store for tastings or to learn more.
